A registered trademark protects you nationwide from any form of infringement. It also provides with you certain rights that you don’t obtain or receive if your trademark is not registered. You also have the ability to file an action for counterfeit and/or an action for [dilution 00:00:26] of your mark. Whereas with a mark that is not registered you’re more limited in your causes of action.
