In Florida every vehicle owner and driver are required to have $10,000 in personal injury protection coverage. PIP benefits are also paid by your insurance company if you’re involved in an accident. PIP benefits are paid by your insurance company regardless of who is at fault. PIP insurance pays a percentage of your medical bills and your lost wages. PIP covers any accident even if you’re involved in an accident regarding a bicycle, or even if you’re a pedestrian.
