Liquidated damages is also referred to as ascertained damages. These damages are the amounts the parties designate during the formation of a contract and damages that can be ascertained by documents like invoices. I hired Michael Pike to represent me in a litigation matter. He is one of the best litigators I have seen, and I have seen many over the years. He was prepared, thorough and his knowledge of procedure far surpassed that of opposing counsel.
