Background: Alexander Brothers Facing Sex Trafficking Charges and Many Civil Claims
Prominent luxury real estate agents Tal and Oren Alexander have been indicted on federal sex trafficking charges. Their brother Alon Alexander is also facing criminal sex crimes charges. The federal criminal indictment alleges that the brothers used their wealth and status to lure women with promises of luxury experiences between 2011 and 2021. However, subsequently drugged and sexually assaulted them. The brothers face charges of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. A conviction could carry life in prison. In addition to the federal sex trafficking charges, the Alexander brothers are facing multiple civil lawsuits. Several women have filed lawsuits alleging sexual assault, battery, and other related claims.
Note: At this time, these are criminal charges and civil allegations. The brothers are presumed innocent until proven guilty. They have pleaded not guilty to the felony criminal charges.

Sexual Assault Victims Have the Right to File a Civil Lawsuit
Victims of sexual assault have the legal right to file a civil lawsuit against their perpetrator to seek financial compensation for damages suffered. They may also have a civil claim against a negligent third party, such as a business owner, property owner, or other institution. A civil lawsuit can provide justice and accountability—regardless of whether or not the perpetrator is ultimately convicted in a criminal court. Survivors may pursue compensation for medical expenses, therapy costs, lost wages, emotional distress, and other damages.
